received ISO 9001:2000 certificates for managing the sytem of quality and ISO 14001:2004 for the system of managing the environment. In November 2006 together with a company Qualitas from Zagreb we started introducing ISO system.
It took more than a year to introduce the system in which all managers and employees of Jadranka were included and therefore we use this occasion to thank them all on their great effort.
Setting up the system through the processes enabled us to organize and maintain the knowledge we created throughout the years and improve certain procedures and standards.
Such complex processes, documented procedures and standards guarantee primarily our customers, but also our suppliers, employees, owners and local government confidence and quality in cooperation with Jadranka.
We showed satisfying results after an audit carried out from14-18.04.2008. by a Croatian subsidiary of the Swiss Company SGS. It should be pointed out that Jadranka is one of the first Croatian companies from the field of hospitality and commerce that carried out certification in accordance with ISO systems.
Even though highly demanding, receiving of certificates is only the first giant step towards establishment of quality system. The system constantly needs improving, every year needs to be verified and every three years reviewed for new certificates. A group of more than 20 trained internal auditors examine the functioning of the system several times throughout the year. The process of establishing ISO system also includes the Policy of quality and environment which briefly points out the frame of work of Jadranka group members.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECT POLICY
Hard work and effort of the entire company's staff with their common goal to satisfy the customers result in successful business.
Meeting the needs of our customers and other parties involved (owners, employees, suppliers and local community) we tend to achieve through the System of managing quality and environment defined in line with international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
System of managing the quality and environment has been established and operated in a way that all of employees, together with the head management, have an obligation to:
respect the laws and regulations
recognize customers' satisfaction, requests and needs
prevent environment pollution
look after people's health and security
responibly manage natural resources
act in accordance with defined procedures and assigned responsibilities
continuously improve efficiency of their own actions and business operations
Management ensures a regular definition of annual objectives regarding the quality and environment so that general goals and policy may be achieved.
